It is easy to have a simplistic view of nature: beautiful flowers, baby birds, blossom in the springtime. But nature is not always easy to see, it is not pretty coloured or neat and tidy. It is about survival of the fittest, along the food chain one species is the food for another.
Nature is not rounded, it is angular and sharp. The trees remind us of this, growing in untidy shapes, H, V, five-stemmed trunks and Y-shaped branches. Rocks are split by frost, splintering, shattering.
