In May, the growing fruit changes shape and size almost daily. Baby apricots [above], distinctive because of the definite curve cut into their shape, almost like buttocks.
Baby peaches [above and below] are distinctive from baby nectarines, easy to tell apart because of the adolescent fuzz on their chins. Our peaches never grow to be big fruit, so we use them for cooking… peach cake predominantly.
