Baby apricots and peaches

In May, the growing fruit changes shape and size almost daily. baby apricots1 22-5-14Baby apricots [above], distinctive because of the definite curve cut into their shape, almost like buttocks. baby peaches1 22-5-14Baby peaches [above and below] are distinctive from baby nectarines, easy to tell apart because of the adolescent fuzz on their chins. Our peaches never grow to be big fruit, so we use them for cooking… peach cake predominantly. baby peaches2 22-5-145 to remember
