The lovely Nia Simone has nominated me for the Versatile Blog Content Award. Two awards in two days… I am really grateful that there are people out there who want to read about our quiet corner of Spain. Many thanks, again! Read Nia’s post here. As always with blogging awards, there are certain steps to follow:-
1. Display the logo in a post
2. Thank the blogger who nominated you and link back.
3, Using the alphabet, describe yourself in a word or a phrase.
4. Nominate eight (8) deserving bloggers and inform them of the nomination.

And now, here are the eight deserving bloggers I want to nominate for this award. I have enjoyed reading their blogs this year:-
Jonas at Jonas Journeys, writing about travelling to the corners of the earth where tourists don’t go
Con Jamón, the Alpujarras bloggers. New in 2013 like me!
GP Cox at Pacific Paratrooper for the history, for the research, for the moving black and white photographs of war in the Pacific.
Beautiful black and white photos at M. FUNK Fine Art//Photography.
Andrea Stephenson at Harvesting Hecate on creativity.
Ella Dee_Words from Sydney, Australia, whose blog I first found because she wrote about a ginger cat [and I had a beloved ginger cat for many years].
Gwendoline Wilson at Garrulous Gwendoline, another Aussie whose posts always make me smile.
Rommel at The Sophomore Slump for some fabulous destinations.
Visit them all, and enjoy!

Noooo,,,, we were told once by a skiing instructor that we ski like typical men and women. D throws himself down a slope without looking. I stand at the top, peering downwards, working out my path around the bumps and obstacles. Nowadays I ski to enjoy myself, not be frightened! SD
