Halfway along the Thyme Track is a semi-circular area which in spring is covered with wildflowers. We call this ‘Horse Corner’ because the first summer we were here we would walk along this track and find a horse, tethered on a long rope to a small stake, grazing contentedly. No wonder he was content, plenty of grass to eat, and a view like this.
5 to remember
el caballo – horse
semicircular – semi-circular
la esquina – corner
una cuerda – rope
un palo – stake
