Heavy clouds hang over the valley tonight as the dark of night descends.

There is a line of silver along the horizon to the west where the faint light of the sun finally disappears.

A star is already visible, an indication that the night will be dry. Perhaps tomorrow’s predicted rain has arrived today instead.
