We live at an altitude of 500m, which means we don’t have the explosion of wildflowers here that seem to be everywhere else. Instead our valley seems to be caught in a time warp, a time warp that is January. After February, which rained practically every day and when it wasn’t raining it was snowing [6in of snow is the most here for 50 years] we are just glad that today is sunny.
The blue sky is the most virulent ultramarine, across it whizz the puffiest white clouds.
5 to remember
la altitud – altitude
los flores silvestres – wildflowers
el valle – valley
el febrero – February
el marzo – March
